This seminar is designed for English (and possibly other subjects) teachers who wish to make the most of artificial intelligence (AI) when creating learning tasks and assessment tools based on the updated curriculum. The main focus is on effective prompt writing – participants will learn to formulate precise and clear prompts that enable AI to generate high-quality, age-appropriate learning content.
During practical sessions, participants will create tests, writing tasks, assessment criteria, and personalized feedback. The seminar will also explore how AI can support task differentiation, foster learner autonomy, and save teachers’ time.
Special attention will be given to developing teachers’ skills in creating missing or underdeveloped thematic content in line with the updated curricula, adapting it to students’ needs. Finally, participants together with the lecturer will discuss which tasks and activities should not be entrusted to AI.
