Not only does the updated curriculum require students to be able to write letters, e-mails, essays or articles, but also reports discussing the given data. Naturally, this task still raises questions for both students and teachers, since until recently, commenting on and interpreting data was only a standard task in international examinations (e.g. IELTS). During the workshop, the lecturer will share best practices and provide practical exercises that include analysing, interpreting and writing reports on the given data (e.g. tables, pie or bar charts), writing conclusions, making clear arguments and using appropriate language and terminology. The lecturer will discuss the types of reports, the recommended structure, vocabulary and grammatical structures.
